Current Job Opening: Gardener
We are looking for a passionate and experienced gardener to join our team.
Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for the upkeep of our client’s beautiful gardens and lawns. Your day-to-day will include a range of tasks including, but not limited to mowing, whipper snipping, hedging, and planting. The successful candidate should have a strong knowledge of plant care and maintenance and will love working in the outdoors.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform regular garden maintenance duties including watering, pruning, planting, and fertilising.
- Mowing lawns and trimming hedges using appropriate tools.
- Diagnose and treat plant diseases, pests, and other problems.
- Operate and maintain gardening equipment including lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, and other hand and power tools.
- Install and maintain garden structures such as trellises, water features, and irrigation systems.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, time spent, and materials used.
- Ensure that all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
The successful candidate:
- Has an interest in garden design, Horticulture and the maintenance of outdoor areas.
- Has a minimum of 3 years of experience working in a similar role.
- Shows a desire to learn and progress within the company.
- Is punctual, well-presented and polite.
- Has a good work ethic and is respectful of other team members and clients
- You are currently studying, or have completed a recognised course in Horticulture.
